Amber was my first show dog, purchased from a pet owner when he was 6 months old. He was champion sired and his grandfather on his dam's side was an English import. His head is the logo. He got 3 points fairly early at 11-13 months of age and then, typical of some English dogs, he went through the gawkies. I was advised by Sara Lynn Jung to put him in the closet until the magical age of 3½ years. I was too impatient and skeptical and put him on a co-ownership. He subsequently moved to the east coast and when I saw him again at 3½ years he had indeed grown up but I couldn't get my hands on him again to show him. Amber is the sire of three champions with Folly and also had several other major pointed offspring.
