Christy was my second outstanding dam of 6 champions. After winning an open bitch class of 23 bitches (a major in the class) and losing WB to a puppy she was retired to the whelping box. Although she cleared an ophthalmologist's exam every year, at age 6½ she was diagnosed with uveitis and eventually went blind. One eye was also removed.
